Overview

The Laramie County Conservation District (LCCD) has many ongoing projects that affect Laramie County's Natural Resources. These projects are often multi-year projects that involve multiple partners and landowners.

The Gutter Bin Project provides stormwater filtration via a bag that drops in the storm sewer. It removes
pollution, including physical trash, heavy metals, and sediment, from flowing water and drops it into a drop inlet or curb inlet. LCCD, in partnership with Rotary Clubs of Cheyenne and the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities, initially put in 14 bins, and the city has since expanded that number. This program was in direct support of the Crow Creek Watershed Improvement Plan.
