Connecting Our Community to Conservation
The Laramie County Conservation District is committed to educating and inspiring our community about the importance of protecting and conserving our natural resources. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, we provide educational opportunities for youth, adults, schools, community organizations, and the general public.
Whether you're a teacher looking to enhance classroom learning, an organization planning a community event, or a group interested in learning more about Wyoming's natural resources, our staff is available to help. We can provide presentations, interactive activities, field trips, educational booths, and demonstrations tailored to a variety of audiences and age groups.
Our outreach programs focus on topics such as soil health, water quality, wildlife, forestry, native plants, agriculture, conservation practices, and stewardship of our natural resources. We strive to make learning engaging, informative, and relevant to our local community.
